Future Field Trips for 2012: It is that time of year again. Please contact me with suggestions for new locations, different focuses and disciplines, or ways to better current offerings. Also if anyone is interested in leading a field trip, that would be well-received too. Mark DeDea, forsythnature@aol.com, 339-1277.
The field trips of JBNHS are oriented to nature study. They are free and open to the public. We do, however, sometimes visit sites that charge admission fees, which are the responsibility of the participants. Children are very welcome on field trips, but pets are not. Although there is a brief courtesy waiting period for latecomers, the meeting times are important: please arrive in time to sign up with the leader.
Descriptions of the events and the names of the participants are submitted by field trip leaders for publication here and in the next issue of our bi-monthly newsletter The Chirp.
